Are you tired of getting in your own way? Are you struggling to move on? Do you find yourself on shaky ground?

 

Gestalt therapy is relational, creative and experimental. Our therapy sessions can be a testing ground, where you can experiment with different ways of being. Gestalt therapy may be particularly helpful if you feel that you have a lot of self-awareness and yet things don't seem to change.

 

I'm a straightforward, compassionate, non-judgemental and dedicated therapist whose strengths lie in working with people who find it hard to trust others. Relationships can cause us a lot of pain; they can also be a place for healing. I'm committed to doing my part to offer an authentic, enriching relationship in which you feel safe enough to explore your inner landscape.

It won't always feel totally safe – opening up, to others and to yourself, often feels risky – but I can commit to meeting you where you are, to holding hope for you when you feel hopeless, and fanning that spark of courage that has got you so far already.

Gestalt therapy is deep and explorative, but it's also present-day focused and growth focused. What is relevant from the past will show itself in the present, in how you relate to others (including me), in what gets under your skin, what brings you joy and comfort, and what causes you terrible pain and anxiety. By working in the here-and-now, we can both soothe old wounds and mould a more satisfying and contented future.

  • childhood difficulties and trauma 

  • relational difficulties

  • low self-esteem 

I'm a gestalt therapist in east London; I also offer online therapy.
